Then proceed to visit Batik shop in Jakarta to find classic and modern design selection and interesting exhibition of Batik, Indonesia traditional cloth. Proceed the tour to visit beatiful Indonesia in miniature park. It is an extensive theme park set in over 100 hectares on the outskirt of Jakarta. This park is the venue for those who would like to see the magnificient Indonesia archipelago in one day. Indonesia’s island are realistically reproduced in miniature in a central lake and around the lake, there are traditional architectural style pavilions set up to represent each wonderful cultural display Indonesia’s province. Continuing the tour visiting museum Indonesia inside Beatiful Indonesia Miniature Park, a three-storey edifice in traditional Balinese architecture. The museum houses a vast collection of Indonesian contemporary arts and crafts, traditional costumes from various regions, puppets, musical instruments, masks, and daily life utensils. Then driving back to the hotel and arriving back at the hotel tour is ended.

Morning picked up by our guide, and starting the tour to visit the national museum which was built in 1862, is the best museum in Indonesia. The museum has an enormous collection of cultural objects of the various ethnic groups – costumes, musical instruments, model houses, numerous fine bronzes from the Hindu-Javanese period, as well as many interesting stone pieces salvaged from Central Java and other temples. There’s also superb display of Chinese ceramics dating back to the Han dynasty which was almost entirely amassed in Indonesia.
(Monday & Public holidays the national museum is closed and a visit to the National Monument is arranged instead)
Then drive further to Jakarta’s china town Glodok. Glodok become banking, hawkers, trading and entertainment center. Visiting Petak Sembilan Chinese temple dedicated to the Buddhist goddess of mercy, Kuan Yin. The temple was built around 1650 and it became the earliest center for the Batavian chinese worship. Then visiting Kali Besar area. This area became a very stylish residential neighbourhood along the great canal of Ciliwung river. At the north end of Kali Besar lays a small 17th century Dutch drawbridge, called the Kota Intan Drawbridge. Proceed the journey to visit Sunda Kelapa harbour. This 500 – year old harbor was a vital link to the outside world market for the 15th century Pajajaran kingdom. This harbour was belong to the Portuguese and Dutch. The harbour is still become one of the most important calls for sailing vessels from all over Indonesia. The magnificient and brightly painted Makassar schooner called Phinisi are still an important means of goods transportation to and from the outer islands. Then after visiting Fatahillah museum, which is housed in the old town hall of Batavia and was built in the 16th century. This museum is one of the solid reminders of Dutch rule to be found in Indonesia. It provides the historic background of Jakarta through a display of maps and antiquities, including furniture and porcelains. (This museum is closed on Monday & Public holidays and Visiting the antique and flea market in Jalan Surabaya is arranged instead).
